Footprints In The Sand

Today I celebrated my beautiful daughter Nelly's birthday. For those who do not know, my sweet angel is a wonderful and special young lady with special needs. Where does the time go? Where does the strength to carry on for both of us comes from? I guess this poem says it all. Also, this amazingly great song performed by Leona Lewis brings it to life and gives it a real meaning.

Footprints in the Sand Poem
Last night I had a dream:

I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:one belonged to me, the other to the Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.” The Lord replied, “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

How To Encourage Yourself With The Lord

Recently I have watched a program in the Arabic language called “MARAAFADLA”, which means "RIGHTEOUS WOMAN". It was truly a great program not to mention very inspirational. You can view the program occasionally on http://www.alkarmatv.com/.

One of the programs presented was about people with disabilities. Mrs. Yevette interviewed a man who has no arms or legs. His name was Nick Vujicic. I tell you something, if you ever feel down and out and you feel that life has nothing to offer you or you have nothing to offer to anyone, please watch this video. If anything, I can assure you, you will change your mind. You will see what real life altering faith in Jesus can do to people, regardless what their capabilities or disabilities are.
Now most of the conversation was in Arabic because there was a translation in the background, but the entire conversation by Nick was in English. I am sure you would get the message nonetheless.

Remembering Dr. Magdy Samuel

Today September 14, 2009 marks the first anniversary of the passing of the most beloved doctor, servant of God, Magdy Samuel. I can not believe it has been already one year since we heard the sad news. I would like to express my condolences, not to only to his family but to every person who was touched by this amazing person. I guess what would comfort them is knowing that Dr. Magdy Samuel is in Heaven enjoying the vast rewards of his service to his Beloved master, Lord Jesus Christ.

All I have left to say to the rest of us is, let us make him an example, soak in the Word of God, serve God’s people, and walk in the foot steps of Jesus, until we meet in Heaven.

A Miraculous Re-appearance – A Kidnapped Child Re-appears 2 Decades Later

Woman kidnapped as 11-year-old surfaces after 18 years

being kept as backyard slave in California.

Here is another unbelievable and mind blowing story about a young girl who was kidnapped when she was 11 years old. Jaycee Lee Dugard was snatched from her school bus stop in 1991. She was locked away from the outside world in the back of a suburban home by Phillip Garrido who after kidnapping her abused her sexually. Not only that, she even had 2 children by this mad person.

By the way, this is the same person who was convicted for raping Katie Callaway Hall in 1976.

She was interviewed by Larry King on CNN.

I must admit these kinds of cases bring my blood to boil and I feel totally helpless not to mention furious.
For goodness sake, what really goes on in the minds of these people like Phillip Garrido and Michael Rafferty who do commit such heinous crimes? Do they even think of the consequences of their actions on themselves, these kids and their families?
I have previously posted few articles about the 8 years old girl Tori Stafford who was abducted this year by a couple of criminals. I have really stressed out the importance of paying complete attention to the safety of your children in order to avoid such tragedies.

Our Children And Quality Time

Today I would like to share with you this special incident which totally touched my heart by its' innocence and sincerity.

A very dear friend of mine sent me an e.mail about an experience she shared with her son. I really can not add much other that to simply share its' content with you (after her concent ofcourse). This really shows the importance of spending quality time with our children and also how to help guide them to know God's words and the truth about our creator.

It is really important to give them a chance to ask as many questions as they feel like it without shutting them down if the questions appear to be plain or naive.

I also can not stress enough the importance of getting our selves educated with the Word of God in order to guide them accurately.

Thank you my dear friend for sending this letter. I hope many parents would be blessed by it and use you as an exmple to act likewise.

Thank you so much Lucy!! I love flowers!!! (take a look in my facebook, I have an album "mis flores" I mean my flowers) I saw the orchids with attention and they are so perfect... a perfect creation!!!!... The message was really nice, very good for these days that I'm having: tired, stressful and sometimes depressed...

I was thinking of you 2 nights ago, I'm reading a book to Sammy, I though that this is good time to read the one that you gave to him 3 years ago: "The Wonder Book, answers to kid's questions"...

Page 1 and 2 speaks about God. You know, things with simple words like:

He knows everything, more than the smartest man or woman.

He is the Creator. He made everything in the world.

God could make all things because He is all powerful. He can do anything.

Nothing is too hard for God. And I was reading everything from the book with emotion to have his attention and adding my thoughts:

Sammy God is Big!!! don't you think so??...

Yes!! Yes mami!!!

Then, the third page speaks of the Bible:

The Bible is a very special book from God.

It is God's Word, and every word in the Bible is true...

God told 40 different men over a period of 1600 years to write down what He said to them. He guided the men in knowing what to say and how to say it.

We don't know if God talked to them out loud or told them quietly in their thoughts. ...

Then, he was trying to see the picture on that page, it is a man writing on a paper...

As he was looking for something... and he asked me:

" mami if God is big, if He can do anything, why He told somebody else to write the Bible??... He didn't know the ABCD's??... or maybe He was too small and couldn't hold a pencil!!! " mmmmmmm... good question honey!!! we are going to ask Lucy... she may know why... " that's OK, still I believe in God!! and I think He is the Best!! "

Change Your Thinking

It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking.

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon

to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes,

their jobs, their involvement in the military service,

where they had been on vacation..

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the

window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to

his roommate all the things he could see outside

the window. The man in the other bed began to live

for those one hour periods where his world would be

broadened and enlivened by all the activity and

color of the world outside. The window overlooked a park

with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water

while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked

arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view

of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite

details, the man on the other side of the room would

close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a

parade passing by.Although the other man could not

hear the band - he could see it in his mind's eye as the

gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed. One morning, the day

nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the

lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully

in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital

attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked

if he could be moved next to the window..

The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after

making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow

to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window

besides the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his

deceased roommate who had described such wonderful

things outside this window.The nurse responded that

the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, 'Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.'

Epilogue: There is tremendous happiness in making

others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when

shared, is doubled. If you want to feel rich, just count

all the things you have that money can't buy.

'Today is a gift; that is why it is called The Present.'

The origin of this letter is unknown, but it brings

good luck to everyone who shares it with others.

Pray this even if you do not feel like it

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day.

I thank You for my being able to see and to hear

this morning. I'm blessed because You are a

forgiving God and an understanding God.

You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Tori’s Is Finally Home

Today came the sad confirmation that the body found couple of days ago in some farm area was that of beautiful Tori Stafford. I am certain the whole country shares the grief along side her family, who perhaps till now may have kept some hope that she might be alive somewhere.
I can not imagine how painful this ordeal must have been on Tori’s parent and brother. The anger must be so overwhelming and the emotional ordeal is beyond description. I am not sure what I would do in such circumstances. I just hope and pray that God would help them through and also give them the strength to deal with the upcoming court case against the accusers.
I am not going to pass on judgments or express my own personal feelings towards the persons responsible for such heinous crime, for I have been accused of being unfair and presumptuous in my previous articles concerning this case. However, I am going to add one thing. God is the only one who knows the truth and what actually went on that awful day in April 2009. I am more that certain that He shall deal with the criminals in a just way and in His own time. I only wish He would have mercy on them unlike the kind of mercy they did not show this sweet little child.

Final word I would like to add here is a reminder to all parents again:
PLEASE BE VIGILANT, AND WATCH OUT FOR YOUR CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES.

This is about the best thing I've ever read as an explanation.

Sometimes we wonder, 'What did I do to deserve this?' or 'Why did God have to do this to me?' Here is a wonderful explanation!

A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.

Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, 'Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.' 'Here, have some cooking oil,' her Mother offers. 'Yuck' says her daughter. 'How about a couple raw eggs?' 'Gross, Mom!' 'Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?' 'Mom, those are all yucky!' To which the mother replies: 'Yes , all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! '

God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good!

We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!

I am, as many are, also concerned and perhaps a bet worried. But to be honest, I wonder if this is not another scheme instigated by the major pharmaceutical companies to profit from a virus that has been here long before it was declared a serious level 6 epidemic.

There are too many dangerous and fatal illnesses around the world that affect the population in much more serious ways and no one has declared an epidemic for them. Apparently the regular Flu affects people yearly from 25 to 50 millions in the United States alone. 150 to 200 thousands people end up in hospitals and from that 30 to 40 thousands cases become fatal.

From Tami flu, to Bird flu, to SARS and many more, we, the public are left at the mercy of World Health Organization, politicians as well as major drug companies who produce and profit from the production of vaccines not to mention the behind the scenes business leaders to give us the peace of mind we need to ease fears for our lives and the lives of our families. Trust me, none of them can provide and help in that regard. CAN A BLIND LEAD THE BLIND?? No chance in that.

My advice to you is, simply do not panic, be informed, use common sense in observing good health and clean environment, do your best and leaves the rest to God. After all, He is the Healer and the Protector of sickness and evil.

One more note to add here. I heard a story about a lady that was meant to be on that French flight that drowned few weeks ago, but somehow she missed it. But at the same time the flight met its unfortunate fate; she had a car accident and died. So, if it is meant for us to die, we will some way or another. The most important thing is to have your heart at peace with God and know that you have secured your salvation and eternal life. Anything else is for naught.

I guess by now you have figured out how strongly I feel about this sad incident which touched many peoples lives, including mine. If by bringing attention to this topic might help raise awareness for parents and make them more alert in taking care of their kids, then I would have done my job.

Have you ever wondered what the face of evil looks like?? Did it occur to you what could a killer be thinking of?? Is it possible that he or she can have normal emotions and typical brain activities!! Well look at this picture. This is Michael Rafferty, the 28 years old man who is accused of killing that sweet 8 years old child Tori Stafford.
Now you may say a man is innocent until proven guilty. This is true. I am not concluding a verdict here, but do you think the police would charge him without sufficient evidence, especially since his own partner in crime fully co-operated with them?
I was reading an article today about this man’s appearance in court. What brought my blood to boil is the fact that his lawyer is talking about the effects of waiting for the unknown on his client. “Mattson (his lawyer) said he doesn't expect the case to get rolling until early 2010, though he noted the wait is having an effect on his client.” And also, “He's anxious to know what the case is against him," he said.
Are you kidding me!! What about the life time that was snuffed out of that innocent child?? Or how anxious her family is?? Give me a break. How can anyone give attention to this man's feelings and discard what happened to the Stafford family even for a second?
May God help us all and protect our children.

For those who have been following the previous articles posted about the little sweet girl Tori Stafford who has been abducted by a couple of sick individuals, this is a detailed description of the funeral held by her parents to say goodbye.

Unfortunately, her remains have not been found yet. Perhaps we can all say goodbye to her, but I hope none of us forget our own responsibilities to our own kids and the extra efforts that we must do to keep them safe in order to avoid experiencing such devastating pain. RIP sweet angel.

Tori Stafford's brother breaks down

at memorial for his beloved sister.

WOODSTOCK, Ont. - Victoria Stafford's 11-year-old brother broke down in tears at her memorial Saturday as he struggled to get through a moving tribute to his little sister, prompting hundreds of mourners gathered to remember the little girl to also cry.

Brave young Daryn wept partway through reading his speech about his beloved sister, his best friend, so his mother Tara McDonald took over and struggled herself to read the touching words her son had written.

An audible cry of despair went up from those gathered when she read the words that cut through to the depth of Daryn's pain."All I can do is think about you and think that I'm your brother, which means that I'm supposed to protect you, but I guess that I didn't," McDonald read for her son, her own voice cracking.

Daryn walked his sister home from school every day - except the fateful day she vanished."But still at the end of the day I still can't say goodnight. I waited all day every day just sitting, waiting for your safe return.

I'll always love you and I'll remember to tell my kids about you."This small, southwestern Ontario community was gripped by the eight-year-old girl's disappearance and was shocked to learn of her death. Two people are charged with first-degree murder in connection with her death.

But while police have still not found her remains, Victoria's family decided to hold a public memorial to help the community heal. About 800 people gathered at a church to hear emotional speeches from Victoria's mother, father, brother and aunt.

A slideshow of pictures of the little girl through the years was also played, set to music.The pictures began and ended with Tori in a pretty pink dress, the slideshow telling a story of a little girl's rich and happy life, but one that was cut excruciatingly short.

Daryn Stafford said he would miss sharing moments with his sister, like laying in bed until they had to leave for school, hugging her, brushing his teeth with her, kissing her goodnight, walking to school with her, arguing with her and holding her.

McDonald remembered Tori's difficult bedtime routine, complaining that her hair, nostrils or toenails hurt, asking for a drink and whining that she was still hungry.

"I would give my own life if just to hear her sweet voice just one more time, to hold her in my arms, to smell her hair, to smush her nose," McDonald said, beginning to weep.

"I guess it's time to say, 'See you later,' as goodbyes are forever. I know that one day we will meet again in paradise, Victoria. Keep a special spot for mommy.

"Her father, Rodney Stafford, struggled to maintain his composure as he talked about how his heart will never fully mend from the loss of his beautiful daughter.

No matter how things went in life she was always there to take his hand, say it was all right and that she loved him, Stafford recalled.

"It took me a very long time to realize that you were saying the things to me that I should have been saying to you," he said."I just can't believe you're gone. I wake every morning in hopes of hearing that little voice of yours...I love you baby girl and I will never let you go."Rebecca Stafford, Tori's aunt, flew back from Alberta for the memorial and shared favourite memories of her niece. In the early days of Tori's disappearance Stafford set up a Facebook page dedicated to finding Victoria and raising public awareness.

As the nation is still reeling from the impact of loosing little sweet 8 year old Tori Stafford who was abducted by a couple of very sick persons, I come across an article In Metronews.ca, Canada about young girls using sex as currency. Wow, I am flabbergasted. What happened to parents raising their children to uphold certain moral standard? Is it the fault of our kids and their immediate environment or is it their parent’s??? I honestly believe that children act according to what they see around them.
Unfortunately, too many parents are not being true to their God given responsibilities and they are not paying enough attention to their children, or what they are doing when they are not around. I said it once and I am going to say it again:

‘PARENTS, WAKE UP FROM THE LULL YOU ARE IN AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CHILDREN”.

If God has given you some beautiful and healthy kids, please watch over them; raise them to be God abiding people and productive members of society.

She also interviewed girls who were willing to pose nude on their webcam and get paid to send the pictures to anonymous men.“There is very little education or awareness of what is happening to girls because the problem is so new and it is well hidden.” Why are girls today more promiscuous than in the past? “The Internet has sped up teens’ sexual willingness and behaviour,” says Azam. “Girls are surrounded by a hypersexualized culture where they are being groomed and encouraged to think of themselves as: Hooter’s Girl, Stripper, Porn Star.

Exposure affects behaviour.” Girls who are looking for attention know that a sexy video or picture can give them power and launch them into fame.This behaviour can have long-term health effects. It could affect the girls’ ability to trust men later in life and to have normal, living relationships, says Azam, who is married with a young daughter.

In addition, many girls are getting STDs. One public health nurse told her that at the four schools she visits, hundreds of kids have Chlamydia. Azam suggests that parents pay close attention to their daughters during their teen years and have regular conversations with them about sex. “The parents that I interviewed wished they had paid attention to the warning signs. When you learn that your daughter has traded sex for $60 or has sold her virginity for $1,000, your whole life stops,” she says. End of Quote.

Please parents, and this is for all of you around the world regardless where you are and what background you come from, I beg you, do something. Take care of your children and be a hands-on moms and dads. Be a good example for them and help them not to get lost in the shuffle. They are too easily influenced and the peer pressure is too great.
And finally do not assume that things are OK, make sure they are. You know what they say about “assuming things”. IF YOU ASSUME YOU MAKE AN (ASS-OF-U-ME).

A girl’s Abduction:

Six weeks to date, on April 8, 2009, a beautiful 8 year’s old little girl was abducted by a stranger right out of her school and in the middle of the afternoon. This is truly any parent’s nightmare. Today, the whole community was shocked and saddened by the news of her death at the hands of two people, a man and a woman. Apparently, it was a random act for the sole purpose of performing sexual deeds.

As a parent my self, I can not express enough my anger and frustration towards a heinous crime as such. What kind of people are these?? Could they be human at all, or are they simply devils in peoples clothing.

Unfortunately, the world is full of sick and demented people. We know that too well. My point in here is to pass on a message to all parents. Since God has blessed us and given us this gift of parenthood, we are all responsible to keep our kids safe no matter what.

We see too often many parents get too involved with their own lives and their own needs not to mention their obsession with personal desires, playmates, and addictions. They dump their children in front of computers, televisions, or some inexperienced babysitters to care for them without realizing by doing so they are opening the doors for ample opportunities for their children to be hurt. They complain how life is too stressful and they have to make ends meet, or they have to let out some stress and relax by dabbling with drugs and alcohol. This fact is truer in the situation of single parents and divorced couples.

Meanwhile, it is the children who end up paying the price, and believe me it is a heavy one.

I am here to beg you parents; please honor this special gift that you have been given and be faithful in fulfilling your duties to the best of your abilities and to the end of your life. This is not a few days or a few years job. Once a parent, you are a parent till the day you die. No one and nothing is and should take the place of your kids, including your own self and your own needs.

I would like to, if I may, mention here some pointers to remind you of, even though I know that you might all know them all. But please humor me and keep on reading:

1- Please make your kids your first priority, and not yourself, your ego and your desires.
2- Listen to their needs and feelings and problems.
3- Respect the persons they are, even at a young age.
4- Instruct them on how to act with strangers, that is not to go or trust anyone at anytime no matter what.
5- They must report and tell any suspicious actions to you and or an adult near by.
6- Don’t allow your kids to have unsupervised access to the internet.
7- Know who they are hanging out with, even they are of young age.
8- Give them boundaries. They will feel more secure and protected.
9- Be a hands-on parent and get involved in their in school and out of school activities.
10- Know who is watching your children when you are away and find ways to inspect their actions.
11- It is not enough to love your kids, but you must make them feel loved.
12- Provide them with the chance to read God’s Words, for in that they shall find a map to direct them in their future.
13- Pray with them and trust that God is the only one who ultimately will protect them.
14- Finally, pray yourself for direction and wisdom from God to help you stay strong and to make good decisions in difficult times and situations. Good luck.

Today, May 21, 2009, an article was posted in Toronto, Canada’s National Post Newpaper, written by Adrian Humphreys. Here is a part of the article for you:

“Woodstock. Michael Rafferty lived with his mother in a sea of children. The clown colours of toys – jump ropes and bicycles, hockey nets and swing sets – brighten driveway after driveway, yard after yard around the home of the man accused of abducting and murdering eight-year-old Victoria, “Tori” Stafford.
In the neighborhood on the east side of the city of 36,000, where the streets are named after romantic poets, the stark realization of the allegations came with sobs and gasps.
“My kids play right outside his house every day. All the kids do – and he’s probably watched every one of them,” said Lisa Cox, who lives across the road, as she broke into tears and covered her mouth with a shaking hand.
Jennifer Burchat, who has a seven-year-old daughter and runs a daycare out of her home four doors down from Mr. Rafferty’s Tennyson Street home, echoed the thought many neighbors expressed: “MY GOD, IT COULD HAVE BEEN US.”

Yes, it could have been them, and unfortunately it also can be you. I hate to do this to you, but if you think I am trying to scare you here, YOU ARE RIGHT. I am.

Too many times we, as parents, fall into a sense of security and get oblivious to the surroundings that our kids are spending most of their waking time in. “Well it seems safe,” we might say. “People look so nice and loving,” we continue. I am sad to say, and it is more than I care to believe, but the statistics show that to every one person caught as a result of a criminal activities involving children, there are twenty-five others uncaught or unreported of.
So, please parents, be vigilant, wake-up from the lull that you are in and watch over your kids. God help us all and protect our precious children.

This is a follow up to the article about Tori Stafford, a girl abducted by a couple of very sick people, who by the way they look quite nice and normal.
An on line petition has been started by some concerned citizen, and so far many have added their names to help establish this new “Tori’s Law” in order to change the current Amber Alert status. Please if you would do read the following petition and add your name to help strengthen it’s cause and hopefully help implement it. I am certain Tori’s family would appreciate your co-operation to bring this law to pass, even though it dose not help them in their situation, it might help another family to avoid suffering the same outcome. Tori's Law This petition is to better the Amber Alert. In any case that a child under the age of 16 goes missing an Amber Alert should be issued without question if the mother/father/guardian finds it out of character for the child to be missing for any length of time. A mother/father/guardian knows their child's routine and when something is out of character they know and feel it. In the case of Victoria Stafford who went missing April 8th 2009 an Amber alert was never issued. Police say that in order for an Amber Alert Police must believe the child is in danger of serious harm and they must have a description of a suspect or vehicle to broadcast. It usually begins and ends within five hours of an abduction. An Oxford Community Police spokesperson said an emergency broadcast alert won't be issued now "because it hasn't just happened. I cannot stress enough that it does not change the investigation in any way of how serious it is," Const. Laurie-Anne Maitland said. Over 40 days later a man and woman have been charged with the murder of 8 year old Victoria Stafford. Police now search for her remains in the Guelph area. A green car in police video was wanted for questioning. Had an Amber alert been issued someone somewhere could have spotted something and Tori could possibly still be alive today. Please sign this petition so that no other family has to go through the feeling of helplessness when a child goes missing. There is nothing to lose and so much to gain by this law that could possibly save many children's lives.

Why are you crying?" he asked his Mom."Because I'm a mother" she told him. "I don't understand," he said. His mom just hugged him to her and said, "You never will."Later the little boy asked his father why Mother seemed to cry for no reason. "All mothers cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why mothers cry. One night, he had a dream. In his dream, he called God on the telephone. When God came to the phone the man asked, "God, why do mothers cry so easily?" God answered him, "My son, you see, when I made mothers, I knew they had to be special.

I made their shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave them an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times come from their children and mates.

I gave them a hardiness that allows them to keep going when everyone else gives up, and to take care of their families through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave them the sensitivity to love their children under all circumstances, even when their child has hurt them very badly.

This same sensitivity helps them to make a child's boo-boo feel better and helps them share a teenager's anxieties and fears.

I gave them a tear to shed. It's theirs, exclusively, to use whenever needed. It's their only weakness. It is a tear for mankind.

From My Heart To Yours

Dear friends and blog visitors. It sure has been my pleasure to spend the last few months sharing with you this special journey. It has been such a blessing to me personally. I hope it has been a blessing to you too. I have attempted to touch on many topics and also did my best to search and add tools, videos and links that can be of interest and help to you all.

At this time of year I want to wish you a

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

May 2009 be a wonderful and successful year for all of us. I have decided to take some time out to catch up on other projects, and I, hopefully, shall return soon to continue this special journey with you.

But before I leave you in God's grace and protection, I have a small message I would like to share with you.

This message is to everyone who do get to read it, regardless of who they are, where they are from and what religious background.

My dear friend. My purpose here is not to influence or impose any religious beliefs on you. I respect who you are and what you stand for. God loves us all so much. All I want to say is:

We as humans are made of three parts - mind, body and spirit. (three parts in one). Our mind might be influenced by our environment, which in turn affects all of our decisions and ultimately our beliefs. However, our spirit, which is connected to God, knows the truth. There are certain decisions we make might have small consequences, but others are so major that our current lives not to mention our eternal lives depend on it. Someone said that this life is like a conveyor belt. At some point it shall stop and we reach the end of the road. Whatever we decide we reap what we sow. So, all I am asking is that if you truly are seeking the truth, please bypass your life long mind set and allow your heart to think and search for the only WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE. God's spirit which is connected to yours will most certainly guide you. This is one of the most important decisions you can make.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE IT LIGHTLY.

I pray for God's love to fill your hearts and his grace and mercy to accompany you in this life's journey until we meet with Him.

When I Sense That All Is Well -

Lord, I want to show my love for You every day by embracing You with my worship and touching you with my praise. Teach me all I need to know about how to worship You in ways that are pleasing in Your sight. Fill my heart with such great knowledge of You that praising You becomes a way of life. Teach me to make praise my first reaction to every situation, no matter what the situation is. All honor, glory, and majesty belong to You. Lord, for You are worthy to be praised. You are holy and righteous, and I have no greater joy in life than entering into Your presence to exalt you with worship and praise every day.

Lord, I worship You for all that You are. You are my Lord in the good times as well as in difficult, on the mountaintop as well as in the valley. I praise You in times of great blessing as well as in times of great challenge. It is because of You that I can stand strong, even when I feel weak. For I know that when I am weakest, You show yourself strong. I am grateful for Your salvation, deliverance, protection, goodness, and blessings in my life every day. I know that everything I have comes from You. Because of Your great strength I go from glory to glory and "strength to strength" no matter what is happening in my life.

I praise You and worship You, Lord. I love You and recognize that all I have is from You. Everything I have is Yours, and I surrender it all to You for Your glory. Therefore, whatever I have lost I release into Your hands. I praise You and thank You that this is the day that You have made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Thank You for your grace and mercy. Thank You that You love me the way You do. Thank You that You will bring good out of my situation. No matter what has happened or will happen in my life, as long as I am alive I will sing praises to You,

O God, You are Lord over heaven and on earth and Lord over my life. I praise You, my precious Redeemer and King. I thank You that You are a God of redemption and restoration. Lord, I praise You as my Deliverer and thank You that You will deliver me from my enemies. I know that "we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places"

You will lift me up above those who rise against me and deliver me from the violent forces that oppose me. "Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way straight before my face"

When I Fight Temptation To Walk In the Flesh

Lord, when I am tempted, show me what it is that is drawing me away from You. I praise You in the midst of any temptation I am facing, knowing You have the power to break its hold on me. Help me to "walk in the Spirit" so that I will "not fulfill the lust of the flesh",

Lord, I know that "it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith"

Create within me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me,

Heavenly Father, thank You that You have delivered me out of the enemy's hand. I know You will continue to deliver me until the day I go to be with You. I call upon Your name, Lord. "I implore You, deliver my soul"

I know You have begun a good work in me and You will complete it,

I know that in whatever state I am, I can be content because You will not leave me there forever,

I will praise You in the midst of any need I have for breakthrough, deliverance or transformation, knowing that You see my need and will meet it in Your way and in Your time.

Double Impact

When I Long To Know God's Will -

1 & 2

Lord, I worship You and praise You as the all-knowing and all-wise God of the universe. All things are known by You. You know all of my days, and You know the way I should go. Thank You that You give wisdom to those who ask for it. And I ask for wisdom today. I know that having mere knowledge apart from You will never be enough to satisfy the longing in my heart. I can never know enough. What I need to know only You can teach me. Lord, I know it is Your will for me to give thanks in all things, so I thank You this day for everything You have done in my life.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Lord, thank You for giving me knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding

(Colossians 1:9)

Thank You for guiding me and leading me. Thank You for giving me understanding from Your Word and directing my steps so I can stay on the path You have for me. Thank You for revealing to me the way in which I should go regarding every decision I make. I praise You for Your wisdom and knowledge and revelation. Thank You for helping me to stand perfect and complete in the center of Your will,

When I see things Going Wrong And I feel Powerless -

1 & 2

Lord, as I go through tough times when everything seems to be going wrong, I draw near to You and disengage from the concerns of this life. I thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to Your power that works in me,

(Ephesians 3:20)

I worship You, God of grace, and thank You that after I have suffered a while, You will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle me,

(1 Peter 5:10-11)

I praise You for Your power and thank You that You pour power into my life in great measure. I worship You, Father of mercy and comfort, and thank You that You comfort me in my times of trial.

Lord, I praise Your name. I exalt You above all things. You are my King and Lord. In the midst of everything that is happening in my life and all that I am going through, I know that You are the all-powerful God of the universe. Hide me in Your secret place in my time of struggle. Lift me high upon a rock so that I may rise above the plans of my enemies to surround me with problems. I will sing and offer You the sacrifice of praise,

When I Need To Forgive - 1 & 2

It amazes me, Lord, that You love me so much that You would sacrifice Yourself so I could be forgiven completely. "Your unfailing love is better to me than life itself; how I praise you! I will honor you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest of foods. I will praise you with songs of joy"

(Psalm 63:3-5)

Thank You that You loved me, even though You have seen me at my worst. I praise You, heavenly Father, who is rich in mercy and grace toward me. Thank You that Your love and mercy are everlasting. Help me to become the loving and forgiving person You want me to be.

Lord, I worship You for who You are. I praise You, my precious and loving God of forgiveness. Thank You for forgiving me. Where would I be without You setting me free from the consequences of my own sin? Lord, I surrender to You everything that is in my heart. I want to be forgiving so I will always be forgiven,

(Matthew 6:14-15)

Take away anything that separates me from You and hinders my knowing You better. Pour out Your Spirit upon me in a fresh new way and reveal anything in me that is not of You. Shine Your light into the corners of my heart and reveal any unforgiveness I have in me toward anyone.

When I Have Problems In A Relationship -

Lord, I praise You as the God of restoration, for I know You can restore my relationships to complete wholeness. Help me to be in unity with others and to be compassionate, loving, tenderhearted, and courteous, "not returning evil for evil," but rather only giving blessings to them,

(1 Peter 3:8-9)

I praise You as my Creator and recognize that You created all the people with whom I am in relationship. You are their heavenly Father just as You are mine. They are my brothers and sisters, and You love and forgive them as You love and forgive me. You laid down Your life for them as You laid it down for me. Help me to love them as You love me.

Lord, I worship You. I praise You, precious God of love, and thank You that You have poured out Your love on me. I lift my heart to You and ask You to fill it so full of Your unfailing and unconditional love that it overflows onto others. Thank You , Lord, that You are the God who makes all things new, even our relationships. You can put new love in our hearts. You can revive love that has died and make love live again. I give all of my relationships to You and thank You for them. For those who are closest and most important to me, and those who are most challenging and difficult, enable me to love them the way You do.

When I don't See Answers To My Prayers - 1 & 2

Lord, I know that what I may see as unanswered prayer may not be unanswered at all. It means that You are answering according to Your will. Whether I understand Your will or not doesn't affect the fact that I trust it and praise You for it. Thank You for Your unfailing Word and that You always keep Your promises to me. I thank You that Your power is infinite. Your judgments and Your will are perfect, and I trust them. Whether or not my prayers are answered the way I pray them, I will praise and worship You above all things. For You are my Wonderful Counselor, my Everlasting Father, my Stronghold in the Day of Trouble, and my Resting Place. I rest in You today.

Lord, I worship and praise You as the all-knowing and all-powerful God of the universe. You are Immanuel, God with us. Thank You that You are always with me. Thank You that your presence frees me from all doubt and gives me increased faith. Thank You that You hear my prayers and will answer in Your time and in Your way. You, Lord, are without limitations. I don't want to limit Your working in my life by my own faithlessness. Help me to "be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer"

When I struggle With Doubt -

Lord, it is by faith we stand,

I want to have so much faith that I am fully convinced that whatever You have promised to me, You will also be able to perform it in my life,

I know that faith is a gift from You, and I pray that my faith, no matter how it is tested by fire, will glorify You and bring all the praise and honor and glory that belong to You. Thank You that You have given me Your Word whereby my faith can be increased. Help me to grow in my understanding of it. May Your Word be so mixed with my faith that it will glorify you,

Lord, I lift up to You my affliction this day (name it before the Lord), and I ask You to take it away. I thank You for Your grace and mercy toward me. "I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up...O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me"

(Psalm 30:1-2)

"Bless the Lord, O My soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases"

Should You decide not to heal me in the way and time I desire, I trust that You will bring good out of my suffering and that it will glorify You.

When I Have Anxiety, Fear and Discouragement - 1 & 2

Lord, I give all of my anxiety and fear to You. I surrender my hold on them and release them into Your hands. I lift my eyes to You, for You are my help in time of trouble. I will praise You in the midst of all that happens in my life. I know that in Your presence I don't need to be anxious or afraid of anything. I refuse to entertain discouragement and instead choose this day to find my encouragement in You. Your love comforts me and takes away all my fear. Your power in my life gives me strength and makes me secure. Thank You for giving me the courage to go forward and fulfill the destiny You have for me.
O Lord, I worship You above all else. You are my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? You, Lord, are the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I welcome your presence now. And I thank You that because You are, I can be too. I will praise You, Lord, with all my heart, and I will tell everyone of Your greatness. You make me glad, and I rejoice in You,

Because He Is The Light Of The World - 1&2

Lord, Thank You that I don't have to fear the darkness because even in dark times You are there. I know that "if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him",

(John 11:10)

But Your light is in me, Jesus, because You have come as a light into the world so that I don't have to live in darkness,

(John 12:46)

The enemy wants me to dwell in darkness, but You have given me light. I choose to walk in the light. I need no other light but Yours. Whatever is good and perfect comes from You, the Creator of all light, and You will shine forever without change,

Because He Has A Purpose For My Life - 1&2

Lord, I pray that You will reveal to me what I am to do and enable me to do it well. I don't want my own dreams and plans for the future to get in the way of what You have for me,

I know You desire mercy and knowing You more than sacrifice,

(Hosea 6:6)

I long to know You more and to conform to the image of Your Son. May Your goodness, holiness, and beauty be upon me and establish the work of my hands,

Move me into the future You have for me as I walk in Your presence each day. Thank You that You created me with a purpose, and every time I worship You, I am fulfilling that purpose.

Heavenly Father, I worship You as my Lord and King. I praise You that You are all-knowing and can see the end from the beginning. That You uphold all things by Your power. That You hold my life in Your hand. That You see my past and my future. I lift up to You all that I am and offer my life to You. Make me an instrument through which Your will is accomplished on earth. Use what I have for Your glory. Lift me up to see things from Your perspective and help me to rise above my limitations. I don't want to limit what You can do in me and through me because I don't have an adequate vision of what Your heart desires to accomplish.

Double Impact

Because He Is With Me - 1&2

Lord, You are all I desire. Just being with You changes everything in me. Longing for You makes me long to be free of anything that would draw my attention away. I draw close to You this day. Thank You that You promise to draw close to me. With You I am never alone. I love your holiness, Lord. I love Your beauty. With Joy I draw water from the wells of your salvation,

(Isaiah 12:3)

Help me to make You the first place I run to when I have longings in my heart. I don't want to waste time turning to other things that will never satisfy the need I have for intimacy with You. My soul waits for You, lord.

(Psalm 33:20)

O Lord, I worship You and praise You as Immanuel, my God who is with me. I long for more of You. I seek after You and thirst for You like water in a dry land. I want to stand under the gentle waterfall of your Spirit and feel the soothing mist of Your love showering over me. I want to be immersed in the center of the flow of Your Spirit. I want to be close enough to You to feel Your heartbeat. You are the only answer to the emptiness I feel when I am not with You. The fullness of Your being is what I crave. The intimacy of Your embrace is what I long for.
